"My earliest memories involved books. The first book I ever received was Sleeping Beauty. I must have read it a million times, but each time it was like an entirely new experience. It wasn't just the feeling that was evoked from reading the book, it was the connection to the person who gave it to me as well, my dad. I can also remember going for walks to the library every summer with my mom and younger brother. The sun seemed to shine just for us on those walks and everything seemed right with the world. It was all very magical. Books are portals to new worlds and experiences. For me they have been the thread that connects me to some of my most cherished memories. I'd like to pass this along because the possibilities are endless. Books touch upon each of our emotions in a special way and this is different for everyone. They are a guide to wherever you want to go."
