Statement by Linh Lu:

Inspired by the shape and pattern of this nautilus, I have together a collection of images that captures this pattern and shape in the form of architecture, specifically stairs. Lines and patterns have always fascinated me whether it be in our natural or urban landscapes. Another source of my inspiration is M.C Escher and his play on architecture, perspective and impossible spaces.

Photo techniques used in this project consist mainly of B&W conversion methods and experimentation of different photo paper for the final print.
